Prepare a Sessional Paper from the Draft National Occupational Safety and Health Policy. Re-submit the Policy to the Cabinet in form of a Sessional Paper.
 

PROJECT PROGRESS

Draft National Occupational Safety and Health Policy prepared. A stakeholders? workshop was held and comments incorporated in the draft policy Cabinet memo prepared to submit the draft. Draft policy submitted to the Cabinet and is awaiting discussions and approval.
 

OBJECTIVE

To establish national occupational safety and health systems and programmes geared towards the improvement of the work environment.

To mainstream occupational safety and health issues into management systems of both private and public sectors.
