In order to ensure equity in access to education, the government will increase the financial assistance targeting vulnerable groups to supplement the already existing initiatives including School Feeding and Nutrition Programme, bursary, Free Primary Education and Free Day Secondary Education. This will be accomplished by rolling out the voucher system for the learners from poor households and children rescued from early marriages and child abuse, consistent with the voucher system being implemented by the Ministries of Health and Home Affairs.
