A draft new Constitution will be finalized and presented to the general public through a national referendum. The specific measures that will go into the new constitution will be drafted by experts, stakeholders, various leaders and legislators. It will take full account of the nation’s history, draft constitutions that were presented to Kenyans in 2005, the 1963 constitution and all the amendments made to it after that date.
