Due to the migratory nature of the pastoral communities, the sector will construct, rehabilitate and equip at least one boarding Primary school in each constituency of the ASAL districts. This will go a long way to increase the enrollment rates and ensure equity in education indicators for these disadvantaged areas. This programme will supplement the national infrastructure programme under KESSP. This will be complemented by a sensitization programme to ensure that parents enroll and retain children in school.
