Affirmative action will be undertaken to correct cultural and historical gender imbalance, physical segregation and regional disparities in-order to promote equity in access to education. The sector will undertake a national survey on special needs and disabilities, identify and nurture talents, revive the most vulnerable children support grant programme, provide laboratory equipment grants and award bursary and scholarships.
