Gender Mainstreaming

This will be introduced into all government policies, plans and programmes to ensure that the needs and interests of each gender (i.e. women and men, girls and boys) are addressed. There will be a deliberate effort to recognize and acknowledge the various ways in which women make a contribution to the economy and indeed, the society as a whole. This will bring a considerable degree of gender awareness in all ministries and government agencies. Furthermore, the operationalization and strengthening of gender divisions in all ministries and state corporations will be implemented to aid the gender mainstreaming process.
