The Independent Electoral Review Committee (IREC) was established in the 2007/08 fiscal year with the mandate to investigate all aspects of the 2007 Presidential election. It is expected to finalise its operations and present a comprehensive report to the relevant authorities in the 2008/09 fiscal year.
