Land adjudication has not been completed in most areas of the country. Where it has been successfully completed, sub-divisions and new registrations make it a never-ending process. Consequently, the establishment of a GIS-based land registry at the Ministry of Lands will significantly streamline this process and help eliminate the existing bureaucratic practices.
