Updating of the Kenya National Occupational Classification Standards (KNOCS), 2000 and Development of the Dictionary of Occupational Classifications

The government will update its Kenya National Occupational Classification Standards (KNOCS), 2000 to be in line with International Standard for Classification of Occupations (ISCO-08), 2008. Further, the government will develop a Dictionary of Occupational Classifications to be used by both employers and human resource practitioners in defining jobs and job requirements.
