Modification of weather to control rainfall amounts over parts of the country
This is an integrated programme with six components, including
- the establishment of cloud chamber laboratory for rainfall enhancement;
- hailstone suppression snow pack augmentation on Mt. Kenya to enhance air quality measurement;
- improved flash-flood forecasting using Doppler weather surveillance technology;
- and improved research to suppress fog and frost on the high-ground areas of Kenya.
