INVITATION TO TENDER

CONTRACT NAME AND DESCRIPTION: Provision of Staff medical and Group personal Accident insurance Cover. VDS/01/2021-2022
1. The VDS invites sealed tenders for the provision of Insurance Services for staff medical and group life insurance cover for a period of one year from 5th September 2021 to 4th September 2022.
2. Tendering will be conducted under open competitive tendering method using a standardized tender document and is open to all qualified and interested Tenderers. Tenderers will be allowed to tender for one or more items.
3. Qualified and interested tenderers may obtain further information and inspect the Tender Documents during office hours 0800hrs to 1700hrs Monday to Friday at the address given below. Tender documents may be viewed and/or downloaded from the website www.vision2030.go.ke free of charge.
4. A complete set of tender documents may be purchased or obtained by interested tenders upon payment of a non- refundable fees of KES 1,000/- in cash or Banker’s Cheque and payable to the address given below. Tender documents obtained electronically will be free of charge.
5. Tender documents may be viewed and downloaded for free from the website www.vision2030.go.ke. Tenderers who download the tender document must forward their particulars immediately to info@vision2030.go.ke, telephone No. 020 2722030 and P.O Box 52301-00200 to facilitate any further clarification or addendum.
6. All Tenders must be accompanied by a tender-Securing Declaration.
7. The Tenderer shall chronologically serialize all pages of the tender documents submitted.
8. Completed tenders must be delivered to the address below on or before 11th August 2021 at 11.00 a.m. Electronic Tenders will not be permitted.
9. Tenders will be opened immediately after the deadline date and time specified above or any deadline date and time specified later. Tenders will be publicly opened in the presence of the Tenderers’ designated representatives who choose to attend at the address below.
10. Late tenders will be rejected.
