Its role is to spearhead the implementation of the Vision as the country’s development blueprint and strategy towards making Kenya a newly industrializing upper middle-income country capable of providing a high quality of life for all its citizens by 2030.
The Vision 2030 Delivery Board (VDB) is seeking to fill the position for Director, Communication & Strategy, Program Officer II, and Information Communication Technology Officer II through a competitive recruitment process.
Key Attributes
The following key attributes will be required for the positions:
1. A well-rounded professional in good standing
2. Substantial experience in the public or private sector in Public Communications and
Communication Strategy
3. Demonstrable proficiency in 21st-Century communication channels
4. Demonstrable exposure to multi-cultural multi-ethnic multi-disciplinary environments
5. Excellent organizational and team-management skills
6. Good inter-personal skills necessary to cultivate and maintain partnerships and collaborations
7. Demonstrable capacity to work under pressure and deliver results
8. Demonstrable capacity for innovation and delivery of results
Terms of Service
The Director, Communications and Strategy, Program Officer II and Information Communication Technology Officer II positions will serve on contract for a period of three years, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. The salary and other benefits attached to this position will be as determined by the VDB in consultation with the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
